Nearby our University there is a huge area called Bandar Sunway, or Sunway City. A corporation called the Sunway group built a whole small city there! It has the Sunway Medical center, the biggest clinic around here, the Sunway residence, a big apartment complex as well as the Sunway geo avenue, a shopping street, and of course, the Sunway Pyramid, the biggest mall I’ve ever been in!
I’ve never seen such a big mall! The first time me and a friend went there, we got lost around two-three times! They got a freaking whole-ass amusement park in there!! With a ice-skating rink, an arcade, boxing cars, a kids version of the thing that has seats around a pole and drops you, and much much more! It was so crazy seeing something like that, especially the ice skating rink in such a warm country, I don’t wanna know how much power this thing eats everyday. This is some Dubai airport level crazy thing right there!
A friend told me that they have malls like these in Mexico too and that they’re pretty common as it seems. Maybe I’m hyping this up a little too, but for me, this is something brand new. In my home country we mostly have shopping streets and smaller malls but I’ve never seen something this big.

No joke! It’s a whole mall ranging over three floors with different shops and restaurants and all!
My brother would love it here, smartphone store next to smartphone store with the newest products available right now!
One side of this mall is pyramid shaped and everything has kind of an old Egyptian theme there, even outside they had those funny “carvings” 😄
Just yesterday we discovered that there is a bridge ranging from our university campus all the way into Sunway geo! That’s so awsome, now I’m much more flexible when I want to go away from the campus as I thought before that I would always have to take the bus or order a Grab to go somewhere. With that bridge I can reach the Metro line and can go further away much easier and cheaper! Maybe I might (finally) go to Kuala Lumpur in the next days! 😁
